JOB OPENING FOR EXPERIENCED HANDICAPPER

Korea Racing Authority is a sole organization to conduct horseracing in Korea. The KRA has 3 race tracks across the country and holds race meetings Friday through Sunday. They are all flat races. We are seeking an experienced Handicapper to play an important role in ensuring the competitiveness of racing. The applicant’s position will be Handicapper and Advisor in Racing. The applicant must be able to work on weekends. The applicant is required to work mostly in Busan-Gyeongnam Racepark and may be asked to work in other venues.

The applicant must meet any of the following requirements:

• 1) Has at least ten (10) years of experience as a Thoroughbred racing Handicapper.
• 2) Has not been convicted of a crime.

The applicants who have experience as chief handicapper or are knowledgeable of rating system or/and transition from class system to rating system are preferred.

Salary and benefits are as below:

• 1) Will be offered an annual salary of KRW 80,400,000① a year before tax.
• 2) Will be offered the severance pavement equivalent to the average monthly salary,
      upon completion of each twelve (12) month, payable when he concludes his employment with the KRA.
• 3) Will be offered a furnished apartment and a car.
• 4) Will be offered two (2) free economy class round trip air flight tickets
      per year including a spouse or partner during the term of the employment.
• 5) Will be offered free medical checkup each year.
• 6) Will be offered a total of twenty (20) days annual leave per year.
• 7) Will be offered a national health insurance with some contributions

Employee’s period of employment is two years which is extendable based upon performance evaluation.
